Following that insane deal we got on the shelves and neons from a hydro farm closing down. Here is what my 70 yo father tinkered with them. Cant wait to see the results !
He recycled the amazon pvc kit he had previously and attached it to the shelves with the neons under. all the shelves are slightly leveled so the water always flows down properly. Its very well made !

That rug is awesome. It really ties the room together.
Paint the PVC with a couple coats of black, and then optionally white again or you will have yourself an algae farm.
Make the nutrient reservoir black as well to keep algae down
