Zinnias are the best! So easy to grow, come in an array of colors & sizes and varietals, are workhorses in garden, have a long season, are great for pollinators, and last in a vase. Such a great flower 🌼 🌸

I spent so much time and energy on tomatoes and peppers I forgot to plant some flowers. So I planted zinnia seeds they are huge now. Just starting to bloom.

I love zinnias too but the Japanese beetles destroyed them this year. Very sad.
Beautiful zinnias. I grew zinnias this year after a hiatus of several years. I did have to chuckle about the favorite flower comment, as it reminded me of a time several years ago before I retired when some of the women at work asked me what my wife’s favorite flower was, so I responded ‘Pillsbury Self-rising’. For some reason they thought I was a horrible person.
Zinnias, marigolds, and (gasp) morning glories are three things I plant everywhere I go. What’s awesome is when you plant different colors and save the seeds to see what hybrids you get the next year

Oooooh… ombré zinnias (idk what they’re actually called) and peppermint zinnias are my favorite! I never grew any this year and now I’m sad lol
