This is Felipe. My first lithops. I've had this guy for over a year and he suddenly decided to start splitting during the wrong season. I'm a nervous wreck, like a first time mom fretting over their baby's sniffles. I check on him constantly, convinced he might suddenly perish somehow. I keep browsing pictures of other splitting lithops to compare him with to make sure it's all happening "normally".
Do I need to do anything special to help him?? I'm not watering of course, and I make sure he gets enough sun. I had been planning to repot him, but once I saw the split begin I knew I shouldn't disturb him while he does his thing.
The first split is the most traumatic, right?? It must get easier after this π«
