Many of the climbing plants we keep will increases the size of their leaves if you give them something to climb on and plenty light of light, small leaves are the plant trying to save energy while looking for a surface to attach on, usually a tree in nature. Once they find a surface they put more energy and resources into making bigger leaves to get more light .
