Tips for pruning lilly pilly hedge

Planted this lilly pilly hedge about 6 weeks ago. 20 plants in total over 17 metres approximately. Is it ready for a trim? I want a nice tight hedge. How often and hard should i be pruning it? Any other tips to ensure it develops into a quality, tightly woven hedge? TIA!

It’s probably a little bit early for a trim but when it thickens up a bit give it a light prune front and back to encourage the sides to “join up”. Then top it when it reaches height.

That’s all you really need to do they’re Lilly Pilly so they’ll sort themselves out. Keeping it regularly trimmed and watered/fed is how you keep it tight. Regular trimming is key because if you let it grow out too far between trims you will start cutting into woody growth which you don’t want.
