My plants don’t get much sunlight from this window and I am looking to add growlights on each of the shelves. Next spring I would like to start seeds and maybe even grow peppers on the lower shelves. But this winter will mostly be keeping my house plants alive.
I see a lot of discussion on reddit with what lights people went with with their IKEA Vittsjo but they never follow up to see if they worked or not.
Is buying generic T5/T8 light fixtures the way to go?
1. I would like the lights to be black instead of white so they dont stand out so much. 2. It would be nice if they could link together instead of running a bunch of plugs on a powerstrip, but not a requirement 3. Dimmable would be nice, it is in a bedroom
