I planted this soft leaf yucca two years ago, originally from Barton Springs nursery. It’s grown to be huge, to say the least. It bloomed for the first time last September/October.
This year, it’s sending up two flower stalks. Is this normal?

You have a split in there somewhere. You can tell from the leaf pattern that it has two points of growth.
It’s a great thing though you may have a cool looking branched yucca in a few years.
It’s normal though! Just enjoy the extra flowers!
