My God’s coworker left her this very sad bolted Jade plant. Advice on how to save her?

    I would inspect it carefully and probably end up cutting it into several plants but saving the rooted stem too as previously mentioned, just to see what happens. Jades are resilient and a continual experiment. You could combine multiple segments in one pot like a forest, after the segments have calloused on the ends, just not too close together

    Clip it up into sections. Even sections of stem without leaves can possibly grow leaves and roots if cared for well. The base could possibly sprout again after the clipping just needs better dirt to go in, inspect the roots see if they are white and healthy, or black and rotten.

    Make sure your clippers are clean. A lot of people don’t realize that plants with open wounds can get infections. If there is any rot you really need to sanitize that pot and your clippers after using them.
