That’s not a weed. It’s purslane. Nice herb. Edible. No problem…..

Purslane. Totally edible. Very light lemony tang.

Yay, the horrible tasting noxious weed that everyone fawns over because it’s technically edible…

Scientific name, Portulaca oleracea. Apparently very good for you! Keep seeing purslane posts everywhere, but have yet to find in any person, I hope I find some so I can test the hype!!

Purslane. They’re very tasty. I usually sautee them with a bit of water, soy sauce and in pinch of sugar, then cook them with eggs. It’s delicious!

Purslane tastes like fresh snap peas/ beans, we bought a house and it was overwhelming our entire yard, but then we found out it is delicious & one of the most nutrient dense plants like watercress…

Purslane. Like dandelion, leaf plantain, thistle, clover, stinging nettles, and many other things it is a common weed that is edible and actually really healthy. Most of them are actually naturalized invasive species from Eurasia that people brought over intentionally for food and medicine.
