I need to sell gardening thing and have a Solano plant that has a lot of peppers but then turned red or any other color besides green do pick them now. They look a little small, but some are kind of big. Thanks for your help.

Hey great looking Serrano plant, one of my favorites. Just like jalapeños it can be a little hard to tell when the green ones ripen past the grassy flavor stage, but they do seem to get a little darker green. They will turn red and they will be a little sweeter and hotter. I just start tasting the older pods till they seem ready or wait till they get red.
