Fiddle Leaf Fig

what to do with figgy??!

this is figgy now (1st pic). I got him around 2 years ago and over the course of moving twice he hasn’t been coping too well. the current spot has been the best, as figgy has put out 4 new leaves since moving to this spot with plenty of indirect light. i am completely aware of why the leaves have dropped and are brown – severe overwatering (pls don’t tell me to repot as that’s not my current issue, i’ve just kept the damaged leaves to keep the plant looking full) and have repotted with a consistent watering routine and moved to the most ideal spot since then maybe 6 months ago or so(first 3 pics). also, as my current home is the first where i’ve had more indirect light, much of the leaves facing the wall have dropped as i’ve not been rotating the plant in the previous homes.

obviously before then, figgy used to be happier, with more leaves and less browning. with all this in mind, how do i attempt to recover him? ive considered pruning and propogating, but am unsure how to approach this. all help is appreciated!💚

At first glance, it looked like sunburn. But is it getting enough water? When was the last time you fertilized?
