Price is around $100 (bonsai here is expensive). I'm not sure if you can actually use this as is for a long-term project. Maybe? I feel like it's best to air-layer 4 or 5 branches and make cuttings from the rest.
What do you think? Is it worth it?

I don’t know where you live and what the general prices there are, but you could get a maple like this in any non-bonsai tree nursery in central Europe for 30-50€/$. The tree seems quite nice though!
