  1. For bottom end rot add calcium. Let your egg shells dry and then crush them up, then sprinkle liberally around your toms.

  2. Wow those cherry rose nasturtiums are gorgeous going to have to get some of those. Your plot is dreamy! I got mine in May so slowly getting there but can't wait to see it in full grow like this next year! 😍

  3. Yarrow supposedly repells ants. It has some sort of effect that drives ants away. If you can find some of the leaves or flowers to spread where you saw ants you might get them to leave. Worth a try..

  4. I planted 17 sweet pea seeds and only one came up. Had 1 very wimpy flower with no smell to it and then the plant died. 😞 Yours are gorgeous!

  5. Hi Seren just wanted to congratulate you on your efforts so far considering how bad the plot was when you received it it is looking fantastic 🎉 just a thought on your greenhouse watering situation, I have been using a sola irigation system that runs itself and is linked to a water butt so you don't need a tap. I got mine off amazon and has 15 watering stations which should suit your greenhouse perfectly. You won't need to worry about watering if you are away from the plot only keeping the barrel topped up. It was only £30 which I think is quite good price and it has paid for itself so far. I just water on top if its really hot, maybe worth considering. Look forward to seeing your harvesting, have a feeling its going to be insane. Also wood chip or old fashioned lawn mover for your paths 😂 it's unbelievable how much things have took off after all the rain. Congratulations again xx 😊

  6. Seren, your garden has gone crazy! You definitely have a green thumb! Your hard work getting everything cleaned up and started has paid off hugely! Bravo! Proud of you. ❤️💐

  7. That grassy weed is Poa annua, or annual meadow grass, is a widespread low growing turfgrass in temperate climates. Not hard to remove, but you have seed heads.

  8. Ask at a cafe or bakery what do they do with their large plastic containers, cut a 20litre or 10 litre drum in half and place plant pots in and back fill up with 1 or 2 inches of water. Work out how much water the plants use in a week. Oil comes in drums, fillings quite in drums as well.

  9. I like the grass paths would just need regular cutting and strimming, not sure it’s worth it when you might prefer to plant some seedlings harvest some vegetables, get one with a new project. Wood chip paths need topping up every so often. Curry plant stopped ants nesting. Any tips for growing snap dragons the are straight, never had one that grows straight up always a bend (which ruins it for cut flowers)

  10. Nettles indicate a nutrient (nitrogen I believe) rich soil and since you used to have a lot of those, the plants that have done very well likely like a nitrogen rich soil.

Oh and regarding the watering in the greenhouse, I can really recommend the “Irrigatia Solar Automatic Watering System”. Quite easy to set up, and you just need a barrel of water and sun for the solar power. It waters more if it’s sunny, since the battery gets more charge then. I recently was away for a week and my very thirsty cucumbers on my very hot glazed in balcony have still been thriving! Worth every penny.

I really like your vlogs, I have watch from the start and love to sit down with a cuppa and just relax and get inspired.
