Neglected Pole Barn

Just acquired my first house! Several pole barns on site that haven’t been loved- looking to breathe some life into them.

Any idea what they couldve been housing in here with this layout and old ‘feed trough’? (Is it a feed trough?)

We did discover after our second walk thru a hidden away chicken coop inside this barn on a separate rate side! (Hidden as in someone nailed up a wood slab ifo it for some reason) – included some photos of that too!

Goats would be my guess. The stand looks to be about the height you’d want for milking a goat/hoof tending along with the height of the feed “trough” for feed/minerals, along with the height of some of the doors.

The lack of fecal smears alllllll over the walls makes me steer (ha!) away from cattle. Congratulations on your new place!
