These worms glow under blacklight!
They can be incredibly difficult to see during the day, and sometimes you can’t find them until they’ve left a path of destruction. But they are very easy to spot after dark with a blacklight flashlight!
(PS. Our chicken & duck friends love the snack too)

Thanks for the photo! I’ve always read about this, but have never actually seen it.
Last month when I first saw signs of hornworms we found 7 with the blacklight. Since then we have probably got a dozen more.
