Hydroponics

I’m doing this for a school project and I’m stumped

Is this a good design?

The blue arrows are backwards. Your flow would need to be counterclockwise.

  2. How are you getting the water to go against gravity?

Don’t have the drain feed into the bottom of the reservoir. Just have it drain directly into the top, you have plenty of space to make it work and that will save you having to drill a hole into the tank

the pump pushes the water around. This makes it unnecessary for the hose to be at the bottom of the pail. Gravity/pressure are not really a thing in this system.

Save yourself a step and just have both incoming and outgoing tubes go into the top of the pail.

Also you dont want the outgoing to come from the lowest point in the pail incase it collects dirt, you dont want to suck that sediment into your hose.
