Massive thank you to @p_u_e and the rest of the Gardening UK community who came through with the advice to separate these NOT SLATE planters!!
It really worked and worked extremely well!! As you can see I opted to fill up my dogs swimming pool with warm water as they are quite heavy to carry upstairs to the bath. I filled the whole in the top with cold weather from the watering can and just like that…they separated easily when I pulled them apart! 😂
Also, for those who corrected me and told me the planters could not be slate, you were 100% correct as I can now see the label which describes them as recycled tyres 😂.
Everyday is a school day for me in this community, I have learned so much about Gardening so I really appreciate it. 🙂
