Can I still save my blueberries?

I planted these 2 months ago and it has since then they slowly turned brown, I’m thinking it’s too much sun? Zone 9b. Recently had 100+ degrees heat. I do heavy watering every 3-4 days. I should’ve done more research but I’m planning to repot it to a 20g grow bag. Any advice or tips that I can do to save these two is greatly appreciated.

This happened to one of my blueberries last year. It completely turned brown and leafless, so I chucked it out. I don’t think I was watering it enough during the summer. Now, I’ve been watering my blueberries almost daily or every other day in the summer and they’re going strong.

Edit: keep in mind, I have a container blueberry

Why not try and save it? I’d remove any fruit and flowers asap and maybe try to shade a little in place rather than digging it up?

I feel like another transplant shock would kill it for sure.

Would daily watering be possible? I’ve daily watered my in ground huckleberries (Vaccinium ovatum-not blueberries but related) and they’ve responded favorably so far (early spring transplants this year). And that’s with shade and a mild climate. Of course my soil drains very well, so that’s a consideration.

Next year, if they survive (and the year after), remove any flowers as they appear.

Did you do a soil test before planting them?
