Caudex

eaiser explained in description

Is it normal for avonia quinaria to have its (not sure what u call it) scale thing pointed out like spines. Its not present in the listing picture. Does any of yours. It'll be nice to see pictures.

It came from overseas been stuffed for a week. High humidity is unavoidable here. Probably at 90% however ill have some nice fans on the guy. Top floor growing in an insulated house Feels like bungalow. Ik its not serious just wondering could this be the cause, will the plant adjust. I dont have many plants from hotter climates but i suppose where it has come from is quite humid.
