Personally I don’t do it. Let them grow and when the vines gets longer you can propagate your plant.

Not overcrowded at all. It will eventually grow more, and I would just up-pot it when the time comes. Plants fare better when a little cramped than when given too much room.

these are too small to break apart and even if they weren’t Syngonium like to be tightly packed in together in fact most plants like to be tightly packed together and/or tightly packed in their pots.
