I’ve had these tradescantia cuttings in water for at least six months. I originally intended to put them in a planter but the leaves started turning a pretty solid purple so I decided to see if they would last. None of the cuttings have died, only the occasional leaf and overall it’s been growing slowly and doing well. Has anyone else had the leaves change color? Is it because of the water or is it because it’s right next to the window getting more light? Anyone know If I plant a cutting will the leaves turn back to the original color?
