As we go through the dog days of summer, the savage bog garden continues to grow and change. Some of the Sarracenia, namely S. oreophila and S. flava, are beginning to taper off, as they are early season growers. In contrast, the S. purpurea ssp., S. minor, S. leucophylla, and temperate sundews are ramping up in growth.

How do you prevent the water inside the prefab pond from stagnating? Also do you have no issues with like lawn fertilizer accidently getting into your container?
