It's not the prettiest but this tree holds a very special place in my heart. It is the tree that got me interested in bonsai and plants in general. My grandmother and I collected the seedling outside our house. She said "Let's collect that one!" and promptly dug it out and planted it in a small pot. That was back in 2007 when I was about 13 years old. I've been trying to keep good care of it since then. Since her passing about 3 years ago, it is the only connection I have left of her. I hope to keep it alive for as long as possible.
