I’m not sure if this is a new stem or a new root? There are a few other bumps/nodes on the other side too but they have not grown. I have had this for almost a month now but no new leaves 🙁 just hoping it’s a new growth!

That is an aerial root. New growth will come from that tiny little spike on the petiole. (You can see it at the top of your picture). Looks like it’ll start poking out soon.
This looks like a aerial root to me. It should show some growth in a month. Is it receiving enough light? Are you fertilizing?
