How to propagate this fiddle leaf?

Hi! I’ve done a lot of begonia propagation, as well as some other hanging plants (wandering dudes, spider plants) but I’ve never tried to propagate something this big and want to make sure we go about it PROPerly. All of my experience has been in making the cut and then sticking into water.

My partner inherited this tall fiddle leaf when he bought his house a few years ago. We’re getting ready to move out of state (he’s going to rent his place to travel nurses, so not someone set who can care for it) and we’re not quite sure what to do with the plant. I’ve seen some people on Reddit say you can propagate them in a few places, but given how tall and leggy this one is, I’d really value some insight into where we could/should make cuts. She’ll get some good light where we’re going, and I think I can help give her a good home soon 🙂

Thank you for any help/advice you can offer!

  1. Chop and prop king. Locate a node, cut it, you.can let it callus over if you want to be safe but stick in water. Cutting it should also promote Branching on the mother plant.
