First Terrarium

So I set up my first terrarium yesterday, and placed it outside on my covered patio in a spot that I don’t think gets direct sunlight. It looked cool, just a couple bits of moss and the springtails, because I’m actually growing a culantro seedling to put in there. Went to work, came home today and…I’m guessing that spot does in fact get direct light from the AZ sun. 😅 Pic 1 is just after set up, pic 2 is a little over 24 hours later.

Few suggestions..press the moss with the substrate a little so that it can directly take moisture and nutrients from it and try to add some dry woods or sticks also..this will enhance its look and will look more natural..and for plants use one with small leafs..like grapevines. For reference-pic There is a channel in youtube SerpaDesign…it has some awesome video tutorials for terrariums 😋👍
