Help! My adansonii is dying on the edges and seems to have tiny black dots on the dead bits. I think it’s a pest but I can’t figure out what!

This is my oldest house plant and up until a recent house move it was doing really well.

The edges are dying off and eventually the full leaf does. If you look closely you can see tiny shiny black dots on the dead bits. I think it’s a pest, but not sure what or how to treat!

Any advice welcome!

Thrips. The black dots are their poop.

Did it get burned by chance? I burned one of my plants this summer and on one of the very burned leaves it had what looked like tiny dirt specks that don’t wipe off 🤷🏽‍♀️

Get some neem oil and spray on it… or use a tiny amount of dawn dish soap deleted with water and wipe all your leafs off… your going to have to cut the bad out
