  1. Your basil looks great, mine got brown from not giving enough air flow with the shade cloth, does it make a difference with the percentage of shade cloth?

  2. When we lived in the desert in California, my neighbor had a big party at the restaurant when he got done he took the shake cloth home and bought it to me. He said I thought you might would like this for your garden. I really thanked him. I had not heard of shade cough before moving to the high desert. It was the only cover they allowed at the farmers markets because the canopies tended to blow away, and you could just put a shade cloth on instead of your canopy and the wind would lift it a little, but never blow your products away I got very tall. I could find at this store xx four and used post hole diggers all around my garden, put the poles on. we did have a wooden fence on one side that predicted from worse of the sun, but with a shade cloth, we were able to hang our rabbit cages in the garden, and all of the plants kept growing and receding, and we even had vegetables in the desert until November, I highly recommend shade cough

  3. I'm also growing a lot of national pickling cucumbers. Started them first of April and they are still going strong. Almost lost all of my peppers due to a lot of rain last month, but 4 plants bounced back. After hand pollinating my tomatoes they are finally producing.

  4. I have a cherry tomato plant that is dying back from the heat. Can I save it by putting some shade on it now or should I just write it off? Also can I use burlap instead? I don't have any shade cloth right now.

  5. I'm definitely taking into consideration for next summers garden. My tomato buckets are holding up pretty well considering the 7 hours direct sunshine up in NW CT. My sweet 100s are 9ft tall with tons of green tomatoes that are just starting to ripen. Early girls are just starting to turn a well. Despite full direct sunlight, not a whole lot of leaf curl or dropped trusses. Cucumbers have gone ridiculously crazy up and over the trellising but could also benefit from some shade cloth next summer.
