Is this considered a node?

I picked this out of a plant and just found out I can’t propagate plants without a node or roots (I’m a beginner) 😭 but I see at the end of one of my cuttings that there’s potentially a little leaf trying to grow out of it, is that a growth point I can use to propagate? If so, would I need to cut higher? Sorry I really like this plant so much and would really want to propagate it 😣
