Hi! I purchased this beauty from the store earlier – my first Alocasia. I was reading online for indoor care tips and wanted some advice. Should I repot this into the pot pictured, or should I keep it in the current one until I start the see roots? The basket is lined. It seems that Alocasias can be a little temperamental when repotting, so any advice is appreciated!

I find it more convenient to keep them in nursery pots and use a decorative pots, It’s easier to check the roots imo. But you could still repot her if you’d like maybe you’ll find some babies
