Is this lemon lime philodendron cutting dead?

She can be saved! Remove the brown dead portion and root it in a cup of water with the candy cane hook-shape end at the bottom(people also root in perlite or soil but I’m never successful with it) submerged so that it covers the nodes I see right where the dead part began.

The leaf may die off but as long as she continues to receive light and water she should continue growing roots and eventually growing new leaves. I’ve had some pretty sad looking leafless-sticks with a single node that have come back to be real life plants!

I add a tsp of aerogarden hydroponic plant food to a gallon of water and use that for my plants that are propping in water.
