What would you put here?

Would like as little maintenance as possible but open to other ideas. Thank you

Nylon (not fiberglass) Window Screen and River Rock and edged to keep them off the sidewalk.

WIldflowers native to your area. They come back every year and will out-compete weeds. No maintenance aside from one weedwhack every fall/before spring growth. Google for a local wildflower nursery near you and go talk to them, bring some pics of the space on your phone with you to the nursery.

As someone that takes great pride in his work it hurts my heart seeing how everything is “installed”. Not even mentioning the potential hazards of all those loose cables and connections. Did you ever considered getting a proper fire inspection?

First step would be to confirm that all of those old phone lines are still in use. If not, cut them down to clean up the space a bit.

I’d hold off all potential projects, until the space is actually ready. There’s has to be a better way to install what you have on display…

First thing you need to do is fix that downspout asap. That black pipe looks to be where it is supposed to drain. That should be a quick easy fix that will save you tens of thousands of dollars in foundation repair.

Paver block, a minisplit unit to replace that window AC

An electrician first, then a plumber, then a downspout, then some drainage, aaaand whatever you want to stare at for plantings or just cap it with concrete or pavers.

You know what maybe it’s just better if I sell the house and move somewhere where everything is done.
