Someone out there might have the actual ‘why’ but this happens sometimes. I get a few like this every year. I think it has to do with something isn’t quite right with the flower, which produces a misshapen fruit. The tomato can still be eaten, but it’s not pretty! It sucks if you only have a few plants, though.
