Now is the time to start watering but don’t treat it like it has full roots yet. It still needs to develop more roots. Pot it up proper and give a nice thorough water and then wait until dry to water again, maybe even a day or two after dry to make the roots stretch down a bit more. And do not put in too much direct light until it has better roots. Keep it in same light it has been in for a while then slowly increase over time
