Pothos

What kind of pothos is this?

I was thinking it’s maybe a satin pothos but I don’t know much about them. She is growing like crazy but only has a couple leaves every like 12”~ ish inches.

Also, if anyone can help, the only other vine isn’t growing because the big vine is taking all the energy. Should I cut the short one and propagate it or save it somehow? Or just leave it alone? I don’t know how to do that without killing it.

Thank you.

Though it is a Scindapsus pictus, it is commonly known as Satin pothos.

I normally get confused over its varieties. I’m guessing your plant is Scindapsus pictus Exotica.

I also faced the same problem of long single vine which I recently cut and propagated (see my comment related to water propagation https://www.reddit.com/r/Scindapsus/comments/1ef4npf/comment/lfilkvy/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). Please keep in mind that it is slow to propagate.

You can also get more info from Swedish plant guys channel on YouTube.

It is a scindaptus! Not really a pothos, but similar. Beautiful plant!
