Hi everyone, caudex noob here. I bought a dioscorea Elephantipes in May from a nursery and I am trying to take care of it.
Since June it has lost the main stem and now looks very dry, the caudex itself is not soft but sounds empty. Since mid June I stopped watering.
The temperature in the room is about 26-28C and humidity around 60-80%. It used to be in front of a north facing window, now I moved it into the shade.
Am I doing this correctly or is it gone?
