Got this guy in a plant bundle on FB market with no ID in a cup of water and no directions. Finally found out it's an Anthurium Longissimilobum and now it's only aerial root is rotting. I chopped the blackest part off about a week ago but still left it in the water cup. Two days ago I took it out of the water cup after realizing it's drowning and allowed it to dry. Somehow it's still throwing out stems, how do I keep it alive? What type of medium do I plant in? And finally, I read about dipping in wax after cutting rot off, will that work in this case? Any help is appreciated, I just want it to survive! 🥲
