A little terrarium shop not far from where I live hosts terrarium making classes, so I took my three nieces since they love my terrariums and wanted to make one! We thought it was just going to be a simple little class but the owner of the shop is a biologist and they delved into the history of terrariums (all the way back to the creation of the Wardian case) and the science behind them. Super fun, super cool. But I wanted to show off the results! The girls did a great job, and I think they may now be hooked. The shop itself was full of some amazing examples of terrariums and little ecosystems.

Awesome job. At least you know now that if they get into this hobby they won’t have money for drugs and alcohol. But they might get trespassing charges over sourcing moss or awesome hardscaping lol
