Gecko tax before I start the post (unrelated to her)

I hope everyone is doing well I have an aquarium that is measured 36x18x16 that I’ll be converting into an arboreal bioactive vivarium, although I know it’s best to DIY my own I wanted to start with what I figured I could handle. The depth will be about 16 inches.
I plan on removing the top portion of glass and recycling the mesh from the old enclosure cover since it’s already ripped in some places. This leads onto my next question, I read circulation is really important and I might need to add a fan, does this depend on the animal that’ll be living in the enclosure or is it mostly for the plants?
And to finish my post, I need some ideas on what reptiles I can stock it with! I love geckos but I am open to suggestions other than my sticky toed favorites, except mourning geckos since I wouldn’t be able to handle how quickly they reproduce and all the babies. I want to create this enclosure specific for this/these animals so that they’ll enjoy it for their entire lives.
