For those of us who share your love of all things gardening and wished we had a friend next door to share, we've been able to lean on you as a virtual garden friend! Months ago, I ordered the same bistro set as yours on the front patio and have it sitting in my new greenhouse. I am glad you are taking a sabatical. It will be a great vacation fot Leia and Stewart. They surely deserve it.
If I may, I would like to suggest some annuals that survive in pots very very well in Utah. Asparagus ferns (springerii ? ) are amazing and super elegant in pots, they get so lush and cascading. With those I plant purple Hearts sometimes called wandering jews (?!). I keep those in the house as propagations over winter. Another star of hot weather planters is sedum autumn joy.

I've always adored cottage gardens, but my busy work schedule never allowed me to start one. Now that I'm retired, I've finally begun growing plants in my front yard, but my neighbor objected to the county. Although the county found no issues, my longtime friend has ended our friendship. Despite this, I still hold dear gardens and aspire to have one as beautiful as yours.

Can someone tell me what Linda means when she says ‘community tab?’ What and where is that?
Linda. Split your bag at each end all the way across and the down the middle from end to end. It will be so much lighter to flip because the contents begin spilling out as soon as you start turning.
My backyard has a cottage garden at the backside. Mostly shade. We love it so much!
