I love the black rocks!! You might also want to consider putting another row of pavers/bricks on top of the current ones. With the additional height you won't have to worry about the rocks and mulch always falling on to the sidewalk.

Girl! If you plan to do a lot of dividing of plants, you need to get yourself a Hori Hori gardening knife. I found mine on Amazon- where else lol! The shovel works fine but I love my Hori Hori knife and find it much easier to use-learned about it on another gardening YouTube video. Lol! Love how the rocks “dressed up” your front bed. Everything looks great!
