Hi everyone! I just got this BEAUTY!! Horse head philodendron 🐴
I’m nervous about expanding my aroid collection because I don’t have an enclosed humidified shelf.. how vital is that humidity if my house stays around 50% in the summer?
Appreciate any and all tips!!

You’re good. Bipennifolium isn’t super picky about humidity, IME. My house is about the same in the summer, AND my plant is kind of close to the air duct (so it’s probably a bit drier than other plants in the room), and it doesn’t seem to care. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it, say, get stuck in a leaf sheath the way a lot of philos do.
