Fiddle Leaf Fig

Advice please

I got this from my mom with just 2 leaves left on it a couple of years ago. It has bee. Doing really well. I repotted it about a month ago. It seems to be on the decline. Anyone have any thoughts on what’s going on and what I can do about it?

Hello! It looks like you have a very severe case of thrips. It looks sunburned and underwatered as well. You definitely need to cut off that badly infected leaf and isolate the tree from your other plants. What brand of soil did you (can you show me the bag?) and does your pot have excellent drainage? Also the moss unfortunately has to come off the plant as it prevents air flow and insects. https://fiddleleaffigplant.com/how-to-get-rid-of-thrips-and-springtails-on-a-fiddle-leaf-fig/

The soil looks like too dry..must water it thoroughly till the water flows out bottom every time(don’t keep the excess water in the saucer after watering)..and Flf is tropical plant, they love sunlight..you just place it by this stairs?

It was a mix of potting soil and some tropical plant soil. I have some rocks in the bottom of the pot. It seems to drain pretty well.
