Just bought this house in vic aus winter right now, this beautiful jap was cut into a box hedge. By flippers who fucked up the water, electricity, gas, asbestos, and more. I want to save these over 50y old trees especially the oak behind her who isn't doing well. (Different post.)

Well the good news is that it’s the perfect time to prune Japanese Maples, the bad news is that the poor things have endured a truly horrendous hack job and will never attain the ideal structure.
