A brasil I believe. With some leaf damage.
Been in my cabinet which must be humid because the top root started growing even though that part wasn’t even in water.
I want to move it to soil (I’ll wait a little longer though). But should I lay it sideways so both roots are in soil ? Or should I snip it and let the “top cutting” and root be in water for a little longer

Yep, it’s a heartleaf philodendron Brasil. I personally would cut off the damaged leaf and then plant this cutting at an angle so both nodes are submerged in soil. Removing that leaf will make getting both of those nodes under soil a bit easier, and it’s generally good to removed damaged foliage, as they can attract pests more.
If I were I wait a few weeks more, and cut the vine in two to have two new plants.
