Cape Town here, currently winter so probably not the best time for trying to germinate seed, but my north facing study has proven to offer sufficient levels of heat and light. Phew!
First pic is Aloe striata (Google it, the inflorescence is gorgeous)
Second pic: in front you have Leonotis leonurus, and Dietes at the back (unsure which species, might very well be a mix as it's from seed I collected in a couple of different places)
