Mine was this plush my girlfriend got me, i knew it was an astrophytum but i really liked how it looked, i thought itd be so cool to have an astrophytum that big. Very quickly i found a good deal on a myriostigma and capricorne, since then ive just endlessly been buying cacti. Added some pictures of my actual astrophytum:)

I was depressed and couldn’t keep the majority of my plants alive because every couple months I’d have a shutdown period. I bought some cacti and succulents and they thrived without my care and helped me learn to take things slow and go easy on myself.
Moving to Arizona and having some in my yard.
at first glance, i thought the first pic was a real cactus with glitter on it and was horrified for a split second. love the collection and happy that these guys are bringing u joy!
