I am new to this sub and pretty much reddit. I finally gave in and joined reddit when a lot of the stuff I was looking for advice or tips/ideas on was on this platform and was only reading but first time posting.
I am so excited to see SO much new growth on my plant collection now that it is summertime here in the PNW. But for the rest of the 10 months of the year I am seeking advice on how to continue this spurt of growth. Being in WA it's usually cooler and not a lot of sun, so of course I have grow lights and humidifiers going around the plants yet I don't really see this level of growth being pushed out… I didn't know if there was a way to trick the plants into having a longer or more frequent "grow" seasons and prevent them from going into dormant stage as I often feel like they are in except for the 2 months. I try as hard as I can to mimic their natural environment of higher heat and humidity to encourage continual growth but up until the past few weeks, growth feels like it's been… very very slow.
Some pics of the plant bebes (also please no harsh comments as I am a new-ish plant mom, got into plants heavily in the last 1.5-2 years, I'm still learning and am often looking up info, but still learning).
