I bought this schefflera a week ago and it’s getting a bit browner day by day with leaves falling each few days. What is going on? I remember treating it for pests a few days ago since I had another plant that I bought from the same place that showed some small signs of fungus gnats. But this one was fine atm, but still, I gave it a good spraying.
The last one I had died a few weeks ago, but that one was a failed rescue 🥲
The pot has drainage holes (it’s still in the same pot I bought it with the same soil) and I watered a few days ago after I got it.
I placed the pot in the kitchen away from direct sunlight, but still in a pretty sunny area, a meter or so from an east facing window.
