Why is my beautiful Epipremnum turning into a giant Dorito?

I've had this plant for three years now, and my goal was to grow massive fenestrated leaves. It took some time, but I finally got there. However, over the past few weeks, all the variegated leaves have started turning brown, even though they were doing just fine for months. I have to admit, it's getting a bit frustrating, especially since even the newest leaves already show signs of browning in the center.

I know that variegated leaves are quite delicate, but I don’t understand what suddenly caused these symptoms and how to stop it. The plant is in a mix of coco coir, perlite, and coco chips. I fertilize it occasionally, but I’ve stopped due to the heat, thinking that maybe the plant had too much and it burned the roots..

I also considered overwatering or underwatering, but wouldn't that affect the green leaves as well, not just the white ones?
